'Floats the Wind' is the debut album from the Nik Francis Trio, a recent formation of improvisers from Washington D.C. whose collective experience spans generations in jazz and experimental music.
In this album, each player traverses the full range of his instrument to create a dynamic stream of sonic objects that drift and ricochet. This is a joyous music from three independent voices, vibrating air and ears in unison.
